On Friday, Oct. 30, at 10:07 p.m., a man entered the store on South 3rd Street, pointed a firearm at the clerk, and ordered the clerk to the corner. The suspect stole approximately $4,000 in cash from the register and about $2,000 worth of kratom products, including 1,000 mg Platinum Edition Limitless seven-Hydroxymitragynine in cherry and cotton candy flavors, before fleeing at 10:09 p.m. toward a BFS gas station and the Five-Star bike trail. The suspect is described as a male approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds, heavily concealed in dark clothing with a dark backpack, a red glove on one hand, and a light-colored cloth covering his face.
