A man armed with a gun robbed Youngwood Vape in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, on Friday. He pointed the weapon at a clerk and spent more than 20 minutes inside the store before fleeing with cash from the register and roughly $2,000 worth of kratom tablets. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and 210 pounds, last seen heading southeast toward BFS and a nearby bike trail. Pennsylvania State Police are asking the public for help identifying him and have not announced any arrests. The robbery occurred about eleven months after a separate law enforcement raid on the Youngwood Tobacco and Vape shop, where authorities seized over $100,000 worth of allegedly illegal products including Delta 8, Delta 10, and THC-A. The district attorney's office said that investigation remains ongoing with charges likely pending, and a clerk there was turned over to ICE. A similar raid occurred at Star Smoke and Vape in North Huntingdon Township the week before. No connection between the enforcement actions and the robbery has been established.
