A silver Nissan Frontier pickup truck stopped next to him, and five men jumped out, demanding everything in his pockets. When the victim stated he only had a cellphone and a vape pen, one suspect displayed a gun tucked into his waistband. The men took the vape pen and demanded the phone, but the victim refused, claiming it had a tracker. The suspects fled in the truck, which was later located outside a home along 7th St SW. Police surrounded the house, and the suspects were detained after a 17-year-old girl initially blocked entry. A second 17-year-old girl, who was in the truck, claimed she did not see the robbery but heard yelling. The arrested individuals include Damarius Jamel Taylor, Tayshawn Williams, Javon Prince Jackson-Roby, Martice Spears Jr., and Deshawn Antwon Lampkin, all aged 18 or 19. Both teenage girls were charged with resisting arrest without violence.
