A vape shop owner has been jailed for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl who tried to shoplift from his store.Summary
Janpal Singh, 27, was jailed for six years and eight months after sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl who attempted to shoplift from his vape shop in Paignton, Devon. Singh pushed the victim to the back of the store and assaulted her behind the counter. He was found guilty of sexual assault following a trial in November 2025 and was also ordered to sign the National Sex Offender Register and receive a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Police praised the victim's courage and strength.
