Kabir Singh, the 54-year-old owner of four businesses in Canterbury, including iRepair and Metro Mobiles, has been fined a total of £5,580.18 for fly-tipping. On January 30, 2024, council officers found between 30 and 40 sacks of waste dumped near Rose Lane. Waste from his stores was identified. Singh pleaded guilty to failing to produce waste transfer notes and failing to prevent a waste offence. Canterbury City Council highlighted his "complete disregard" for waste rules.
