Indonesia’s National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has called for a complete ban on e-cigarettes and vaporizers following the discovery of illegal substances within the devices. BNN head Suyudi Ario Seto reported that of 341 e-cigarette liquid samples tested, at least 11 contained synthetic cannabinoids, chemical compounds commonly found in cannabis. This discovery has prompted the agency to urge regulators to outlaw these products to mitigate the risk of drug abuse.
