According to Decree 371, issued by the Vietnamese government on December 31, 2025, possessing or using these products can result in fines ranging from $114 to $190 (VND 3 million to VND 5 million). The embassy advises Filipinos to be aware of these regulations. Previously, the embassy also recommended that Filipinos purchase travel insurance before visiting Vietnam and safeguard their travel documents to prevent disruptions to their travel plans.
