Summary

A woman was found bleeding from the head in a restroom at Ang Mo Kio Hub after she apparently fell over. An e-vaporiser was seen close by her body. She was reportedly unable to get up for a full five minutes. The incident occurred at around 3pm on May 19 in the women's restroom on the ground floor of Ang Mo Kio Hub. A witness told Shin Min Daily News that they saw the woman lying on the ground with blood emerging from her head, while a pool of blood was visible nearby. According to a video provided by the witness, the woman, who appeared to be in her early 20s, repeatedly tried to sit up without success before closing her eyes and lying back down. A device resembling an e-cigarette could be seen on the ground, along with a slipper nearby. When Shin Min reporters visited the scene, a cleaner said she heard a commotion coming from the women's restroom while she was cleaning the men's restroom nearby. When she went to check, she found the woman on the ground. The cleaner said the woman later got up and left on her own. The cleaner added that she cleaned up the pool of blood afterwards. When contacted by Shin Min, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed it had received a report and arrived at the scene, but found that no assistance was required.
