A vape shop in West Kelowna, B.C., called Kelowna Vapor Lounge, was the target of a smash-and-grab last Wednesday, resulting in several thousand dollars in damage and $5,000 in stolen merchandise, including ABT-branded and Hi5 products. The incident, captured on security video, shows two suspects quickly entering the shop and stealing disposable vapes. Manager Kristin Greenwood believes the suspects are young, noting their “childish” clothing and behavior, and highlighted a distinct hoodie with a ‘Rare Americans’ logo as a key identifying feature. Greenwood is concerned the stolen products will be resold to minors near schools and is urging the community to report any illegal sales. The shop is considering installing bars on the windows to prevent future incidents.
