Sacramento County sheriff's detectives have arrested Darnelle Lavar Green and Dezmond Collier, both 20, in connection with an armed robbery at Blueberry Vape and Smoke on Watt Avenue. The robbery occurred on August 21, during which two armed suspects used handguns to force an employee to hand over cash.
Following an investigation of security footage, detectives identified the suspects and obtained arrest warrants. The breakthrough occurred on October 13, when surveillance at an apartment complex led to the arrest of Collier inside a unit and Green outside, with a concealed handgun and extended magazine found on Green.
Both men were arraigned in Sacramento Superior Court and are currently being held at the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Facility. They face robbery charges under California Penal Code section 211.
