Wests Tigers prop Terrell May has strongly denied rumours that he was the player seen vaping in the club's gym, claiming his surname has made him and his brother Taylan easy scapegoats for the club's cultural problems. The rumours emerged following the Adam Doueihi saga, where reports suggested one of Doueihi's complaints was that players were vaping or carrying man bags during weight sessions. May, who frequently wears a cross-body satchel, noted that his name was quickly linked to the controversy despite no evidence.
