Over 93% of Ukrainian vape products fail to meet regulatory requirements, with pod systems and disposables dominating the market.Summary
Kantar Ukraine conducted a study commissioned by major tobacco companies that surveyed vape products across the country. The research found that more than 93% of the products did not fully comply with local regulations, while only about 4% met all requirements. Pod systems and disposable vapes constitute the main market segments, with two‑thirds of the pod and device market controlled by three Chinese manufacturers—VapeOnly, Smoore and Woody Vapes. Offline retail channels account for roughly 75% of purchases, compared with about 25% sold online, highlighting ongoing compliance challenges in Ukraine’s vape market.
